Imagine a young person, filled with potential but weighed down by hunger, lack of opportunities, and uncertainty about their future. That’s how Moses Okenla felt as a young man, struggling to finance his education through menial jobs. The path ahead seemed bleak—until one day, a simple act of kindness changed his perspective forever.
On a bright Sunday morning, Moses was given a food pack by a local church, and in that moment, he realized the power of compassion. That small gesture not only nourished his body but also ignited a passion within him to pay it forward. He knew that many others faced the same challenges, especially children and youths with untapped potential, hindered by circumstances beyond their control.
In 2020, with a heart full of purpose, Moses founded Lighted Pearl Africa Foundation (LPAF) to do more than just provide relief. His vision expanded to empowering children, youths, and vulnerable communities by offering sustainable solutions. LPAF’s initiatives aim to bridge the hunger gap, provide education, mentorship, and equip the next generation with the skills they need for a brighter future.
Through LPAF, Moses is not only tackling food insecurity but also investing in lifelong learning, STEM education, mental transformation, and vocational skills training. By addressing the root causes of poverty, LPAF is helping vulnerable individuals take control of their futures. Moses understands from his own experience that poverty and lack of opportunity create barriers, but with the right support, these barriers can be broken.
His mission is clear: to create pathways to independence for children and youth, and to transform lives and communities across Africa.
Will you join him in this journey? Together, we can build a brighter future—one child, one community, and one act of kindness at a time. Your support will change lives, instill hope, and unlock the potential within those who need it most.
